We ♥ eggs. Who doesn’t? They’re a delicious protein that you can cook in so many different ways. One of my personal favorite is boiled eggs! They’re extremely quick, easy, filling, and can be used in recipes or eaten alone. We cook eggs so often that I’ve been able to “master” how to cook them perfectly so if you’re looking for the perfect way to make perfect boiled eggs, look no further. 🙂
Perfect Boiled Eggs
Fill a large pot with water and bring to a rapid boil over high heat.
With a slotted spoon, slowly bring your eggs into the water. (You’ll want to go slowly to avoid cracking.)
Lower the temperature to medium-high. (A “7” on a numbered dial.)
Cook for 12 minutes. (If you want soft boiled eggs, cook for 6!)
Remove from heat, immediately drain, and run cold water over the eggs for several minutes.
Peel and enjoy!
