Easy Lo Mein or Fried Rice

Easy-Lo-Mein

Ingredient List

Lo Mein

  • 16 ounces lo mein noodles OR 14.5oz Barilla PLUS Spaghetti.
  • Your choice of cooked meat, 2 large chicken breasts, 1 pound lean ground beef, 1 pound shrimp, etc.
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil.
  • 6 eggs. (Optional)
  • 9 tablespoons soy sauce.
  • 6 tablespoons teriyaki sauce.
  • 3 tablespoons honey.
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic.
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil.
  • 2 bags Steamfresh® Chef’s Favorites – Asian Medley.
     

    Directions

  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey, ground ginger, pepper, garlic, and sesame oil.
  • Cook noodles to al dente and drain well. Set aside.
  • Heat 2 teaspoons vegetable oil in a large pan on medium heat and cook scrambled eggs. Set aside.
  • Steam vegetables in microwave.
  • In the noodle pot, combine noodles, cooked meat, sauces, vegetables, and eggs. Toss well to cook.
  • Enjoy!

    Fried Rice

    Follow as above except substitute noodles for 4 cups of cooked rice.
