Easy Lo Mein or Fried Rice
16 ounces lo mein noodles OR 14.5oz Barilla PLUS Spaghetti.
Your choice of cooked meat, 2 large chicken breasts, 1 pound lean ground beef, 1 pound shrimp, etc.
2 teaspoons vegetable oil.
6 eggs. (Optional)
9 tablespoons soy sauce.
6 tablespoons teriyaki sauce.
3 tablespoons honey.
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger.
1/2 teaspoon pepper.
1/2 teaspoon garlic.
2 tablespoons sesame oil.
2 bags Steamfresh® Chef’s Favorites – Asian Medley.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey, ground ginger, pepper, garlic, and sesame oil.
Cook noodles to al dente and drain well. Set aside.
Heat 2 teaspoons vegetable oil in a large pan on medium heat and cook scrambled eggs. Set aside.
Steam vegetables in microwave.
In the noodle pot, combine noodles, cooked meat, sauces, vegetables, and eggs. Toss well to cook.
Follow as above except substitute noodles for 4 cups of cooked rice.
