Recipe | Teacup Poached Eggs

My daughter absolutely loves eggs, especially poached, but sometimes it can be a little difficult to make them when she’s starving for them. That’s when I discovered the easiest recipe for poached eggs. It takes less than 2 minutes and you make them in the microwave! They’re delicious and fast, just the way I like it.

Teacup Poached Eggs


Ingredient List

  • One egg.
  • 1/2 cup of water.


  • Pour 1/2 cup of water into the teacup.
  • Carefully crack egg and drop into water.
  • Cover with a small plate.
  • Microwave for a minute or until the egg whites are firm. I will usually microwave for 1:10 for my daughter just to be safe.
  • Use a slotted spoon to carefully remove the egg from the cup. Serve and enjoy!
